Scott Wise,
PT, DPT
Scott is the owner and director of the Grove City Wise
Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. His primary
responsibility and focus is patient care, although he
oversees all facets of the operation. Scott earned his B.S.
and D.P.T. degrees from Slippery Rock University. Scott
worked at United Community Hospital and Grove City Physical
Therapy before establishing Wise Physical Therapy and Sports
Medicine in October 1995. Scott is a life long Grove City
resident. He and his wife, Janet, have three children:

Janet Wise
Janet and her husband, Scott, opened Wise Physical Therapy
and Sports Medicine in 1995. Janet is the Office Manager of
both the Grove City and Slippery Rock offices. Janet also
handles all of the billing for both locations. Janet is a
graduate of Grove City College, where she majored in
Communication Arts. She also received her teaching
certification in secondary English from Thiel College. Janet
is a native of the Mercer/Grove City area. She is active in
the American Cancer Society where she participates in Relay
For Life. Her primary focus is doing all she can to fight
cancer. In her spare time, Janet enjoys spending time with
her husband and three children, Brandon, Megan and Nancy.

Trent Harris,
MPT
Trent earned his B.S. degree in Allied Health from Slippery
Rock University and M.P.T. degree from the University of
Findlay. He was awarded the "Academic Excellence Achievement
Award" from the University of Findlay. Trent's primary
responsibility and focus in the clinic is patient care. He
has been an employee of Wise Physical Therapy and Sports
Medicine since 1996. Trent currently resides in Grove City,
PA. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children: Katelyn
and Hunter. |

Casey
Unverzagt, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, CSCS
Dr. Casey Unverzagt is the director of the Slippery Rock office of Wise Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. He received his B.S. from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. He is currently working towards his Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy (DScPT) at Andrews University in Michigan, in Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapy. Dr. Unverzagt completed a post-doctoral sports residency in White Salmon, Washington, after which he became a board certified sports physical therapy specialist. Dr. Unverzagt also is board certified in orthopaedics. He currently teaches for the APTA's Sports Section, Scorebuilders, and is a faculty member for Evidence in Motion's sports physical therapy residency. Dr. Unverzagt is a site- reviewer for APTA's residency and fellowship accreditation committee. He lives in Grove City with his wife, Emily, and three boys: Josiah, Bereket, and Tamagn. With any free time, you'll find him running, cycling, or hiking.

Dave Conway
Dave has been a Wise Physical Therapy employee since
2004 and has spent 10 years in the fitness business. A
graduate from Wilmington Area High School. Dave went on to
play baseball at North Carolina State. In 1996 he earned a
BS in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University. Dave
has four daughters: Nicole, Danielle, Carissa and Cassandra. |

Caryn Gehrke, PT, DPT
Caryn earned her BA in neuroscience from Columbia
University. She also competed in cross country and track and
won multiple Ivy League titles. Caryn then coached cross
country and track at Columbia before continuing on to earn
her DPT from Columbia as well. After graduation, she worked
in NYC and ran track for the Central Park TC before moving
to the Pittsburgh area. Caryn still enjoys running
competitively. She and her husband, Marty, now live in
Slippery Rock with their son, Martin.

Kristen L. Fischer, ATC
Kristen received her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from Slippery Rock University in 2010. She then went on to complete an athletic training internship with Westminster College. She is currently working for Wise Physical Therapy as an athletic trainer at Slippery Rock area high school. She is originally from Pittsburgh, but I am currently living in Slippery Rock. |

Andrew Hay
Andy graduated from Grove City High School in 2005.
He earned his BS in Exercise Science from Gannon University
where he also played soccer for the Gannon Knights. Andy is
a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and
is currently in the DPT program at Slippery Rock University. |

Megan M.
Lowry, MS, ATC, PES
Megan is the athletic trainer for the Grove City School
District. She earned her BS in Athletic Training and
Exercise Physiology from Ohio Northern University in 2004
and her MS in Athletic Training from West Virginia
University in 2006. Prior to working at Wise, Megan spent
four years as an athletic trainer and assistant professor at
Bethany College and two years at Fairmont State University
as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. In addition to
being a Certified Athletic Trainer, she is also a
Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National
Academy of Sports Medicine. Megan is originally from
Pittsburgh, and currently resides in Lisbon, OH with her
husband, Kyle.

Michele Smith, PTA
Michele works at both the Grove City and Slippery Rock
offices of Wise Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. She
received her B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from
Pennsylvania State University in 1995, and her A.S. in
Physical Therapist Assistant from Mercyhurst College in
Erie, PA, in 2000. She is a member of the American Physical
Therapy Association and the Amercian College of Sports
Medicine. She is also a certified Health Fitness Specialist
through the American College of Sports Medicine. Michele
lives in Slippery Rock with her husband Bill.

Jeff Walker, PTA
Jeff started working at Wise Physical Therapy in July 2011 between the Grove City and Slippery Rock offices. He earned his A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant from the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville in 2008. By 2010, Jeff became certified as a PTA with Indirect Supervision. Jeff is originally from the Centerville area (north of Titusville if your wondering), but now resides in Slippery Rock. In his free time you will find Jeff spending time with his girlfriend Miranda and enjoying anything related to football or boxing. |

Linda Wampler
Linda began working at Wise Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in 2011. She works at the Slippery Rock office. Linda is a graduate of Grove City High School and Duff's Business Institute in Pittsburgh. She earned her associate degree in Specialized Secretarial Science in 1984. She has over 25 years experience in the business aspect of the medical field. Linda resides in Grove City with her husband, Fred. |

Sandy Wilson
Sandy has been at the Grove City office since 2006 and has
been a medical secretary for 18 years. She lives in Volant
with her husband Bob, and has three children Hallie, Adam,
and Jake. |
